Alisa Moore lives in Berkeley, California.  Since being initiated into the practice of Transcendental Meditation at the age of 11, Alisa has been fascinated with metaphysics, alternative healing arts, the psychic, and spirituality.  Her other passions include flower gardening, painting, interior decoration and writing.

Alisa graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1986 and received her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University in 1997.  Although she never aspired to become a traditional, licensed therapist, she felt that obtaining an advanced degree in psychology would provide a great foundation for her non-traditional counseling work – which has proven to be true!  Additionally, she is certified as a hypnotherapist and massage therapist.

Since 1997, Alisa has developed and coordinated programs for foster children and homeless youth in the Bay Area and in Washington State.  She also maintains an intuitive counseling practice, utilizing both traditional and non-traditional approaches, including depth hypnosis, tarot, numerology and her natural psychic ability.  Alisa works in person, on the phone, or via email.  Distance does not present an obstacle to a good reading or counseling session.
